Animoto allows public users like you and I to become professional video editors. You can upload your own videos to this web application or pictures and make it accessible to all users. Animoto reviews your images and the music you upload to use to make sure it all flows and is in sync. If it turns out that you do not like your video, you can click the Remix button and Animoto changes it up for you, or you can change it on your own. Animoto is still a new "Beta" website, so many things are being edited as they go, but I think it is pretty splendid so far.
I will be using this to upload my pictures to create family slideshows. This would be wonderful to use for student pictures of your class. You can upload and create an end of the year slide show for parents of your students. I loved this website, my practice slide show is on the top right.
