Thing 15- Wiki

Wow!  E-mail is the old school way of communicating via the internet, I can't wait until I get to tell my mom that. ;) We now have access to an interactive website titled, "Wiki" This is a collaborative website for many people to change material by simply clicking edit, save, and link. Many people use the term "Sandbox" to describe a wiki.  This is the gray area of the website that is used simply for pure play and exploration.

• I had a lot of fun exploring all the wiki websites, but my favorite was Teacherlibrarian wiki! and the youtube video was beneficial in explaining wiki's more.

• I looked at the APSU sandbox, but couldn't find anything that really looked fun to edit.  So I decided to go to the wiki website and search pictures, but had trouble with this. Finally, I decided to use a picture that I had uploaded onto my desktop, it is amazing how much trouble I went through to upload this picture.  It asked about Creative Commons and took me the around about way to get my photo published.  It is much easier to edit a work of your own instead of someone else's, geez. (I guess that makes sense).
